Ingredients:

2 pounds ground beef, preferably chuck.
2 teaspoons coarse salt,
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper,
2 tomatoes (about 12 ounces), thickly sliced.
8 Bibb lettuce leaves (about 1 small head).

 Steps:

1. Preheat grill to medium high. Season meat with salt and pepper, mix very lightly, and shape into patties using BurgerMate. Grill about 4 or 5 minutes per side for rare and 10 or 11 for well done. Alternatively, cook on a grill pan over medium-high heat for about 5 or 6 minutes per side for rare and 9 or 10 for well done.

2. Serve on buns brushed with olive oil or butter and toasted, if desired. Top with lettuce, tomato, spicy ketchup, and other condiments.
