Ingredients:

2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided.
1 med onion, chopped.
1 med apple, peeled and chopped.
1 clove garlic, minced.
1 tsp dried sage OR 1 tbsp fresh chopped sage.
1 1/3 lb ground turkey,
3 cups cooked brown rice,
2 tbsp ketchup,
1/2 tsp salt,
1/4 tsp ground black pepper,
Hamburger buns, toasted.
Assorted condiments.

Procedures:

1.  Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

2.  Add onion, apple, garlic and sage; cook 3 to 5 minutes or until onion is tender.

3.  Remove from heat.

4.  Combine onion mixture, turkey, rice, ketchup, salt and pepper in large bowl.

5.  Shape into patties using BurgerMate.

6.  Heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in same skillet over medium-high heat until hot.

7.  Cook burgers 6 minutes per side or until thoroughly cooked.

8.  Serve on buns with condiments.
