Ingredients:

500 g beef mince,
1 egg (white only),
½ cup fresh breadcrumbs (made from 2 slices bread),
2 tbsp purchased satay sauce,
Pide (Turkish bread),
Salad leaves,
Fresh coriander.

Method:

Combine mince, egg white, breadcrumbs and satay sauce. Shape into patties using BurgerMate then chill to firm. Cook patties on a well oiled, hot bbq plate or char grill for about 15-20 minutes (patties should not be pink in the centre). Turn occasionally and reduce heat when patties are well browned to prevent outside overcooking and drying out. Serve on pide bread with extra satay sauce, sliced tomato, salad leaves and coriander.

Tip:

Split and toast the Turkish bread under the grill and spread with humous instead of extra satay sauce for a flavour variation.
