Pork and Peanut Burger with Yasai Moraiwase Submitted By: Kevin

Ingredients:

10 pcs : sesame buns,
200g : BEST FOODS Mayonnaise/LADY'S CHOICE Mayonnaise,
20 slice : ripe tomatoes,
50g : snow pea sprouts.

Yasai Moraiwase:

200ml : BEST FOODS Soya Bean,
Oil/LADY'S CHOICE Soya Bean Oil,
3 clove : garlic, chopped.
150g : onions, sliced.
200g : red cabbage, shredded.
100g : carrots, julienned.
100g : beansprouts,
50g : spring onions, cut to 2cm lengths.
1 tsp : sesame oil, to taste.
4 tbsp : Japanese light soya sauce, to taste.
5 pch : white peppercorns, freshly grounded, to taste.

Pork and Peanut Burger:

1.2kg : pork, minced.
300g : pork fat,
100g : cooked rice,
50g : pineapple, chopped.
30g : spring onions, finely sliced.
100g : peanuts, roasted, crushed.
2 : eggs.

Chilli Teriyaki Mayonnaise:

300g : BEST FOODS Mayonnaise/LADY'S CHOICE Mayonnaise,
4 tbsp : KNORR Teriyaki Sauce,
3 tbsp : Thai chilli sauce ( mae pranom ),
3 tbsp : pickled green chillies, chopped.
2 pch : black peppercorns, freshly grounded.

Methods:

Pork and Peanut Patties:

1. Mince pork, pork fat and cooked rice in a food processor until fine.

2. Tranfer to a bowl and add chopped pineapple, spring onions and peanuts.

3. Season to taste with KNORR All Purpose Seasoning.

4. Add eggs and mix with hands until it is well mixed. Divide mixture into 10 portions and shape into patties using BurgerMate.

5. Heat oil in frying pan and fry patties over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until brown and cooked. Remove and keep warm.

Yasai Moraiwase:

1. Heat oil in wok, stir-fry chopped garlic and sliced onions until fragrant, add in the rest of the vegetables and stir-fry for 5-10 minutes.

2. Add light sesame oil, soya sauce and pepper to taste. Keep warm.

Chilli Teriyaki Mayonnaise:

1. Mix all ingredients well in a bowl and keep chilled.

Serve:

1. Cut the buns into half and spread with Lady's Choice Mayonnaise.

2. Lightly toast the buns and spoon on some yasai moraiwase.

3. Place the pork and peanut patties on it and spoon chilli teriyaki mayonnaise over it.

4. Garnish with sliced tomatoes and snow pea sprouts. Cover with bun and serve immediately with fried onion rings.
