Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds ground beef,
1/4 cup onion, minced.
1 clove garlic, minced.
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
1/4 teaspoon pepper,
1 egg, beaten.
2 ounces parmesan cheese, grated, 1/2 cup (I used the kind in a can).
Cooking oil,
8 ounces tomato sauce,
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning,
6 1/2-ounce slices mozzarella cheese.

Directions: 

Mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper well. Shape into patties using BurgerMate. Dip patties in egg then coat them with parmesan cheese. Heat a little oil in a large non-stick skillet. Brown patties over medium heat, turning once to brown the other side. Drain fat. Combine tomato sauce and Italian seasoning; pour over patties. Cover skillet and simmer on low heat 15 minutes, until meat is cooked through. Top each with a slice of mozzarella; cover pan and heat until cheese is melted.
