Ingredients:

1 1/3 lb ground beef,
400g can unsalted, unsweetened kidney beans, drained (use half the can for the burger and the other half for the salsa).
1 green pepper, deseeded and finely chopped (use half for burger and half for salsa).
 1 tomato, roughly chopped.
1 tsp chili powder.

Directions:

In a large bowl mix all the ingredients (minced beef, half the can of kidney beans, half the green pepper, tomato & chili powder) until thoroughly combined. Form mixture into burgers using BurgerMate.  Grill or barbecue for 8-12 minutes in total or until thoroughly cooked. Serve on a toasted whole-wheat sultana bread with a mixed beany salsa made up from reserved kidney beans and green pepper plus some blanched green beans, capers and chicory.
