Ingredients:

500g (1lb) New Zealand minced lamb, fresh or thawed.
Two teaspoons wholegrain mustard,
One tablespoon chilli sauce,
One tablespoon Worcestershire sauce,
One tablespoon lemon juice,
One tablespoon freshly chopped mint,
One medium egg, beaten.
Salt and freshly ground black pepper,
Pitta breads,
Selection of salad leaves,
Garlic mayonnaise.

Instructions:

1. Mix the minced lamb with the mustard, chilli sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and chopped mint.

2. Bind the ingredients together with the egg and add plenty of seasoning. Shape the mixture into burgers using BurgerMate, then cook under a preheated grill for about five minutes on each side until brown and cooked through.

3. Warm the pitta breads under the grill, then split in half and fill with salad. Top each with burgers and serve with garlic mayonnaise if liked.
