Hawaiian-Style Burgers Submitted By: Jackie

Ingredients:

1-1/2 pounds ground beef,
1/3 cup chopped green onions,
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce,
1/8 teaspoon black pepper, 1
/3 cup pineapple preserves,
1/3 cup barbecue sauce,
4 pineapple slices,
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted.

Directions:

1. Combine beef, onions, Worcestershire and pepper in large bowl. Shape into patties using BurgerMate.

2. Combine preserves and barbecue sauce in small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring often.

3. Place patties on grill rack directly above medium coals. Grill, covered, 8 to 10 minutes (or, uncovered, 13 to 15 minutes) to medium doneness (160°F), turning and brushing often with sauce. Place pineapple on grill; grill 1 minute or until browned, turning once.

4. To serve, place patties on buns with pineapple.
