Grilled Burgers with Apple Chutney Submitted By: Louis

Ingredients:

1/ 1/3 lb ground Beef,
Chef's spice blend*

Directions:

Form ground beef into patties using BurgerMate. Season with spices. Place over medium hot grill. Brush with Apple B.B.Q. Sauce* from time to time during grilling.

To prepare cooked burgers:

Top with Apple Chutney*, Grilled Onions and Baby Lettuces. Serve with Fresh Fruit.

*Chef's spice blend Ingredients:

Pinch Crushed red pepper, Pinch Black pepper, Pinch Garlic salt.

Directions:

Mix spices together, to taste. Sprinkle onto patties.

*Apple B.B.Q. Sauce Ingredients:

½ cup White Vinegar,
¼ cup Brown Sugar,
1 tsp. Granulated Garlic,
Black Pepper, To Taste.
½ of Apple, chopped.
1 tsp. Liquid Smoke,
1 cup Ketchup,
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil.

Directions:

In a medium pan add Vinegar, Brown Sugar, Ketchup, chopped Apples, Liquid Smoke, Garlic and Black Pepper. Boil over medium high heat for 8 to 10 minutes and stir to blend all ingredients.

*Apple Chutney Ingredients:

1 Red Apple, chopped.
1 tsp. Fresh Ginger, chopped.
¼ cup White Vinegar,
½ Lemon, peeled and chopped.
1 tsp. Garlic, minced.

Directions:

Chop fresh apple, lemon and ginger. Add vinegar and garlic. Mix well.
