Burger Ingredients:

1/4 cup finely chopped onion,
1 1/3 pound lean ground beef,
1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chiles,
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce,
1/2 teaspoon salt,
4 (3/4-ounce) slices LAND O LAKESŪ Deli Jalapeņo Cheese Food.

Toppings Ingredients:

Jalapeņo chiles, Lettuce, Salsa, LAND O LAKESŪ Sour Cream, Tomato slices.

Instructions:

Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.  Meanwhile, combine onion, ground beef, chiles, hot pepper sauce and salt in medium bowl; mix lightly. Shape into 4 patties using BurgerMate.  Place patties onto grill. Grill, turning once, until desired doneness (15 to 18 minutes).  To serve, place burgers on serving plate; top with cheese slices. Serve with desired toppings.

Broiling Directions: Heat broiler. Prepare patties as directed above. Place patties onto ungreased broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat, turning once, until desired doneness (15 to 20 minutes). Serve as directed above.
