INGREDIENTS:

500g lean beef mince,
1 (425g) tin butter or cannellini beans, drained and mashed well.
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce,
1 onion, finely chopped.
2 teaspoons mixed dried herbs,
2 tablespoons parsley,
1 egg, lightly beaten.
4 slices reduced fat processed cheese slices, halved.
spray oil.

To Serve:

sliced beetroot, iceberg lettuce, soft bread rolls, toasted.

METHOD:

Place mince, beans, sauce, onion, herbs, parsley and egg in a large bowl. Season well and, using your hands mix to combine. Divide mixture into 8. Divide each portion in half. Flatten one half and place ½ a slice of cheese on top. Top with the other half of the patty. Shape the patty into a ball and use your BurgerMate to create final patty. Spray a non-stick frying pan with oil spray. Heat to medium and cook each patty for 5 minutes each side or until golden and cooked through. Serve in a roll with lettuce, beetroot and tomato sauce.
