Checkerboard Burgers |

Ingredients: 1 pound lean ground beef, 2 (1-ounce) slices White American Cheese, quartered, 2 (1-ounce) slices Yellow American Cheese, quartered. 3 hamburger buns. Directions: Heat gas grill to medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white. Shape ground beef into 3 patties using BurgerMate. Place patties onto grill. Grill, turning once, until cooked through (15 to 18 minutes). To serve, place 1 burger on bottom half of bun; top with 2 quarters white American cheese and 2 quarters yellow American cheese, placing alternately in checkerboard pattern. Cover with top half of bun. Repeat with remaining ingredients. |
