Beef Tartare Burgers with Fried Onion and Bell Pepper Submitted By: Randell

Ingredients:

2 onions,
1 red bell pepper,
2 teaspoons chilli powder,
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder,
1 teaspoon fresh crushed black pepper,
1 teaspoon salt,
4 beef tartare burgers, shaped with BurgerMate. 4 tablespoons Bertolli olive oil, 1 tsp dried Provence herbs.

Directions:

Slice the onions and bell pepper in thin rings.  Mix the chilli powder with the cinnamon, pepper and salt. Dust the tartar patties with this herb mixture.  Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onions, provence herbs and bell pepper until the onions are translucent. Remove from pan and keep warm.  Fry the beef tartare burgers for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.  Put the burgers on a plate and cover with the sautéed onion and pepper rings.  Serve with mixed salad and baked potatoes.
