INGREDIENTS:

675g minced meat (can be slightly fatty for added moisture),
2 onions, finely chopped.
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs,
1 large egg, lightly beaten.
1 Tbs prepared mustard,
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce,
a pinch of dried oregano,
plenty of salt and freshly ground black pepper,
hamburger buns, toasted.
mayonnaise,
iceberg lettuce leaves,
spicy tomato relish,
yellow American mustard,
Beetroot slices,
4 slices cheese.

METHOD:

Place the mince, onions, breadcrumbs, egg, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, oregano and salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix well until combined. Divide into four and form into patties using BurgerMate. Cover and refrigerate until required. Fry the burgers or barbecue for 6 - 7 minutes on each side (medium). Serve burgers in a toasted bun with mayo, relish, mustard fried onions, lettuce, beetroot and cheese.
